Ob Hospitalist Opportunity in Wilkes-Barre, PA

Position: OB Hospitalist - Full-Time/Part-time

Hospital: Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV)

Location: Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

Facility Overview:

• 243-bed hospital acute care and surgical facility
• Level III NICU
• NICU Staffed 24/7 by neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, neonatal nurses, and respiratory therapists.
• Approximately 2,000 annual deliveries
• In-house Anesthesia? Yes
• MFM care onsite
• CNM care onsite
• EMR: EPIC
• Family Medicine Residency Program

Responsibilities (location specific):

• OHHG Hospitalists responsible for unassigned deliveries and OBED patients

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time: 5 or more 24-hour shifts in a 28-day block
• Part-Time: 1 to 4 24-hour shifts in a 28-day block

Requirements:

• Board-Certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active medical license
