Gastroenterology Locums - Limited Call Coverage in Maryland

Practice Setting

• Coverage required for an established Inpatient Medical Setting.
• Focus on Adult Patient Ages for all clinical and procedural duties.
• Must be comfortable with a procedural volume of 14-16 per day.

Schedule

• Full-time clinical coverage is required for this commitment.
• Scheduled Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Call is required one weekend per month with a 1:4 ratio.

Procedures and Cases

• Upper GI endoscopy and Esophageal procedures are primary requirements.
• Must be proficient in Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology is required for this role.
• Active Maryland State Licensure
• Open to IMLC Physicians with an active Letter of Qualification (LOQ).

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing time is approximately 60 days from a complete application.
• BLS Certification is required prior to credentialing submission.
