INFECTIOUS DISEASE

ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER

TELEMEDICINE PRACTICE DESCRIPTION

Recommended Experience:

• Minimum of two years experience practicing as an Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner. This allows time for providers to gain experience as a practicing Infectious Disease NP to be able to successfully practice virtually.

Active State License needed for opportunity:

• NM, AZ, TN, and/or TX

​

Employment Options:

• Full time W2

​

Shift Details:

• Monday-Friday, 8AM to 5PM local facility time
• Will cover two times zones at a time (MST/CST or CST/EST)

​

Projected Volumes:

• Average of 12-13 follow-up patients with the oversight from an Infectious Disease board-certified physician

​

Holiday coverage:

• Shared rotation within practice
• Currently, only 2 facilities
• Will cover 2-8+ facilities at a time, all dependent on volume.

​

Documentation:

• Responsible for documenting a progress note for all follow-up patients that are seen.

​

Future opportunity:

• Saturday and Sunday, 8AM to 5PM local facility time
• Two weekend facility as of now, both in CST

​

Compensation:

• $125,000 annual salary
• Health and other insurance coverage as available
• Paid time off (PTO) contingent on schedule
• 401(k) plan participation
• Malpractice insurance
• Licensure renewal expense reimbursement
• Reimbursement of continuing medical education (“CME”) expense, up to $1,500.00 annually if approval by Company’s Lead Advanced Practice Practitioner for the specific CME course or courses is obtained in advance of the Employee enrolling in them. Of the $1,500.00, employee must apply $500.00 to Employee’s membership in the Infectious Disease Society of America and Access TeleCare designated programs.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Must be available for a 5-day stretch (Monday-Friday). This is for continuity of care.
• Weekend Warriors must be available Saturday and Sunday
• Must submit availability 90 days in advance and submit winter holiday availability in September.
