    The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston Medical Center Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is recruiting for an Academic Obstetrician in a Hospitalist Role/Laborist.

    The Laborist physician will lead a team that provides safe, high-quality, cost-effective obstetrical care using evidence-based medicine and best practices. Physicians in this role will

    be primarily responsible for managing the obstetric unit, labor management, and deliveries, including operative deliveries. The position includes rounding on antepartum, postpartum

    patients, providing obstetric and gynecologic consultations to the inpatient and emergency departments, and consulting for family practice obstetric providers and advanced practice

    providers.

    Qualifications: MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school; have/eligible a Massachusetts Medical License; Board-certified/eligible in OB/GYN; 3+ years post-residency experience or completion of an OB/GYN Hospitalist fellowship preferred; Experience in high-volume, high-risk obstetrics preferred

    Compensation:

    We offer a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. Our staff receive a highly competitive salary and generous benefits 403b, tuition benefits and more. Academic appointment will be at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

    Bonus: $50,000

    Compensation ranges between $286,213 and $388,800

    The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and departmental budget. The above hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
