OB/GYN Hospitalist –Salinas, CA| Full Scope + Surgical Support

Shift Notes: 24 Hours: 2190 hours annually (averages 7–8 24-hour shifts/month). 24-hour in-house OB-GYN hospitalist coverage Weekend Requirements: Weekends covered as part of 24-hour rotating schedule On Call Requirements: No call – 24-hour in-house model

Job Description: The provider will be responsible for:  Requirements:

• Providing 24-hour in-house OB-GYN hospitalist coverage
• Managing labor and delivery for low-volume OBs in the community
• Handling obstetrical triage and emergency situations
• Performing patient evaluations and management
• Assisting in obstetrical surgeries
• Participating in fetal monitoring and coordination with MFM specialists
• Supporting a Level III NICU operated in partnership with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford
• Collaborating with pediatric subspecialists and MFM support
• Ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care for all obstetric patients
• This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.

Requirements:

• TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
• Active CA license (active California medical license at the time of application) (note in additional submission requirements if in process) - REQUIRED
• OB Hospitalist work experience - PREFERRED
• Clean malpractice and license history - HIGHLY PREFERRED
