** Practice Details:**

- 114-bed hospital delivering comprehensive patient care

Support staff includes neonatal nurse practitioners, onsite radiologist, and 24-hour laboratory availability
- Efficient air and ground transport for NICU patient transfers when needed
** Schedule:**

Patient rounding in the mornings followed by call coverage
- Must be able to respond to deliveries within 30 minutes
- Inpatient census of 5/day on average
- 2 patients/day/provider
- 2 admits/day/provider
** Qualifications:**
- Board-certified Pediatric Hospitalist
- PALS, BLS, DEA, and NRP certifications required
** Cases and Procedures:**

Pediatric Hospitalist responsibilities include:
- Coverage of newborn nursery, scheduled c-sections and deliveries
- Respond to codes
- Manage routine cases in an inpatient setting
- Prepare/stabilize patients for transfer to NICU

No ICU/Critical Care duties
