The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an open rank, fixed-term Glaucoma Ophthalmologist position is currently available in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This position will serve patients at both the UNC Kittner Eye Center, located at 2226 Nelson Hwy, Ste. 200, Chapel Hill, NC, and at various other clinical sites owned by UNC Eye. Comprehensive Ophthalmologist for an open-rank, fixed-term faculty position. This role includes a strong commitment to clinical care, resident teaching and supervision, and medical student education. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. An open rank, fixed-term Glaucoma Ophthalmologist position is currently available in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Responsibilities include patient care, research, resident teaching and supervision, as well as teaching medical students. This position will serve patients at both the UNC Kittner Eye Center, located at 2226 Nelson Hwy, Ste. 200, Chapel Hill, NC, and at various other clinical sites owned by UNC Eye.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical performance, training, and scholarly activities
- Board certification or board eligibility in Ophthalmology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of North Carolina
