  • The Ward Family Heart Center is seeking a pediatric cardiologist at the assistant or associate professor level. This role involves equal responsibilities in echocardiography and general outpatient cardiology. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of 28 cardiologists, 4 CV surgeons, and 30 APNs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide echocardiography coverage
    • Spend 1-2 days per week in local general outpatient clinics
    • Serve as attending on cardiology inpatient or consult service for 4-6 weeks/year

    Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. Experience in peri-operative and peri-procedural TEE is essential, while proficiency in 3D and stress echocardiography is preferred. Training in MR/CT imaging is a plus but not mandatory. Strong communication skills are crucial.

    Our Heart Center serves over 5 million people and performs more than 500 cardiac operations, 600 cardiac catheterizations, and 20,000 echocardiograms annually. We boast state-of-the-art hybrid catheterization labs equipped with the latest 3D imaging and EP technology. Telehealth and video-conferencing capabilities enhance our outreach clinics.
