Ohio State is taking a major step forward with the development of a new hospital that, combined with modern educational space, will enhance a unified Ohio State Wexner Medical Center campus providing leading-edge research, outstanding clinical training and world-class patient care.

The 1.9 million-square-foot inpatient hospital is the largest single facilities project ever undertaken at Ohio State with up to 820 beds in private-room settings to elevate patient-centered care, safety and training for the next generation of health care providers.

Scheduled to open in early 2026, planning is years in the making and with that, we are proactively stepping up our recruitment efforts to staff this amazing inpatient hospital with only the best faculty to continue our prestigious and outstanding reputation of being one of the best in the country! With this new initiative at our doorstep, we are offering sign on bonuses and relocation expenses paid to new faculty members!

Ohio State Department of Radiology:

As a subspecialized Department of Radiology comprised of 9 Clinical Divisions, our goal is to provide exceptional imaging and procedural care for every patient, embracing a patient and people-first philosophy. We provide plain-film, CT, MRI, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, breast imaging, and fluoroscopic and interventional services, as well as several therapeutic interventions, for example, imaging-guided cancer ablation and radionuclide therapies for cancer treatment.

Throughout our practice, we train the next generation of radiologists. Our strengths in imaging research and innovation help to focus our clinical and educational programs on future, leading-edge applications.

Current and ongoing opportunities: Abdmonial Imaging, Breast Imaging, Emergency Radiologists, Vascular Interventional Radiologists, MSK Radiologists, Neuroradiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians/Nuclear Radiologists, Thoracic Radiologists.
