Outpatient Internal Medicine assignment available in Louisiana, just west of New Orleans.

Practice Setting

• 100% outpatient care — no inpatient coverage
• Treat Medicare-aged patients, many Spanish-speaking
• Supported by NPs, RNs, scribes, and MAs
• Focus on complex, chronic condition management

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8AM–5PM
• No weekends or after-hours shifts
• 3-month minimum commitment — dates still available
• Predictable schedule allows for long weekends and travel

Cases and Procedures

• Bread-and-butter internal medicine
• No procedures required
• Manage diabetes, hypertension, CHF, CAD, and mild cognitive concerns
• Higher-acuity geriatrics in a primary care model

Requirements

• Board-certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine MD
• Active Louisiana license (not IMLC eligible)
• At least 12 months of post-training experience
• DEA required; Spanish fluency strongly preferred

Travel Accommodations

• Travel and lodging not included

• Estimated 16–18 patients per day
• Credentialing supported via Axuall platform
