Northwestern medicine - Join the Quest for Better as a Palliative Care Physician

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a BE/BC Palliative Medicine physician to join the Palliative Medicine Team.

1. Consults: in-patient and out-patient.
2. Provide medical care related to symptom management.
3. Participates in interdisciplinary team to develop a written plan of care.
4. Develop and facilitates & goals of care for patients in the in- patient and outpatient setting.
5. Actively participates in process improvement related to system and department goals.
6. Participate in Tumor Boards.
7. Participate in Oncology Quality Committee / Cancer Committee.
8. Serve as collaborating physician to advanced practice providers
9. Interdisciplinary team includes 1 physician, 1 APN, 1 RN, and 1 LCSW.
10. Medical staff privileges at Huntley Hospital and McHenry Hospital inpatient consults and clinic.
11. EPIC electronic health record system wide.
