Cedars Sinai Medical Center (CSMC) is a world-renowned medical center and American College of Surgeons Verified Level I Trauma Hospital. We are recruiting a Trauma & Acute Care Surgeon to join our busy faculty team in the Department of Surgery. CSMC is a 958-bed academic center with state-of-the-art surgical facilities, an independent surgical residency and a surgical ICU fellowship.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing trauma, emergency surgery and the surgical ICU on a rotational basis. We are seeking candidates at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Education and research are strong core responsibilities of our Trauma ACS faculty surgeons. Other areas of interest in general surgery can be accommodated as well.

Qualifications

  • MD or MD/PhD
  • Completion Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Training
  • Eligibility for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Medical Staff Membership
  • Eligibility for an unrestricted California Medical License
  • Eligibility for appointment to the appropriate academic rank in the CSMC Professorial Series
  • Eligibility and/or Certification by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery or its equivalent

Our compensation philosophy We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package. Pay Range: $424,435 - $655,467 total cash compensation.
