PRN Critical Care APP- MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital
MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital, a proud member of MedStar Health, is a 182-bed full-service acute care facility located 30 minutes South of D.C.
We currently have a PRN APP opportunity to work in our critical care unit located in Clinton, MD.
This position offers you the opportunity to work in a community hospital but have access to the resources provided by a large healthcare system. MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital has a high volume of cardiac patients including Intra-Aortic Balloon pump management, Pulmonary Arterial catheter placement and management along with Advanced Heart Failure services.
In the inpatient setting, you will provide primary coverage for patients in an 18-bed mixed IMC/ICU setting. The provider will work within the hospital setting, admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge, while following all established policies for maintenance and signing of medical records, contributing to the achievement of department goals, and adhering to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standards. The Ideal candidates will have ICU experience and be a team player who is committed to excellence in healthcare delivery, quality, and safety.

Compensation Details
$76-93/hour
The hiring range is the range MedStar Health, in good faith, believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education and/or skill level, etc. Even within the range, the actual compensation will vary depending on the above factors as well as market/business considerations. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable under the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans.
