Banner Health, a Top 5 Large Health System and one of the country's premier non-profit health care networks is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join a collegial team of Hospitalists with Banner University Medical Center Phoenix, the largest and one of the most comprehensive tertiary care facilities in Arizona.
We are looking for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver exceptional, high quality, patient-centered care with compassion, dedication and collaboration ensuring every hospitalized patient receives safe and timely care.” We are looking for someone who is ready to join our dynamic hospital medicine team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary, academic environment involving medical students, residents, fellows who are committed to excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform histories and physicals, develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications
- Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized adult patients in collaboration with physicians, residents, nurses, and other members of the care team
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
- Maintain documentation in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and coordination of care

Requirements:
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Acute Care, Cardiology, GI and/or Inpatient experience is highly desirable
- Current State of Arizona license or in process
- DEA with prescriptive authority required
- Open to New Graduates with Related Experience
- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
