Interventional Cardiologist – Flexible Block Schedule

Are you a talented interventional cardiologist seeking the perfect combination of fulfilling work and exceptional pay - without compromising your work-life balance? This position with one of VitalSolution's top-tier healthcare partners in Louisiana might be the opportunity for you!

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Enjoy only 182.5 working days per year with a structured block schedule (7 days on/7 days off) while earning a competitive full-time salary. 1-3 year contract. Where flexibility meets stability. Block scheduling gives you predictable time on and true time off.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Inpatient consults and rounding
• Outpatient cardiology clinic
• 24/7 call during block schedule

Diagnostic & Interpretive Duties:

• Diagnostic LHC/RHC - Coronary angiography
• Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)
• Instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR)
• IVUS
• Nuclear cardiology studies
• Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Supervise or interpret stress testing

Procedures:

• Cardioversion
• Cardiac Cath - Diagnostic/PCI
• IABP
• Temporary Pacemakers
• Pacemaker Implants (preferred but not required)
• Peripheral Intervention
• Collaborative Environment: Work closely with APP

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
• 50 PCI's in the last 12 months
• LA license: IMLC State – Licensure facilitation provided
• LA DEA
