Job Description
- Provide comprehensive OB/GYN hospitalist care in two major facilities: Swedish Medical Center-First Hill (6,000 deliveries/year) and Swedish Issaquah (1,800 deliveries/year)
- Support Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) and OB providers with labor and deliveries, surgical assists, and obstetric emergencies
- Manage obstetric triage and emergency situations, including ectopic pregnancies and torsions
- Perform routine GYN procedures, including diagnostic laparoscopy, supporting the Emergency Department
- Participate in academic activities, teaching OB fellows and residents from OB and family medicine programs
- Collaborate with a respected maternal-fetal medicine team in a collegial and supportive environment
- Work a flexible schedule of 6–8 24-hour shifts per month promoting a healthy work-life balance
