About the Role:
Are you a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant seeking a surgical environment with patient autonomy? This assignment in New York offers an ongoing weekend schedule (Friday- Sunday) with a blend of inpatient and outpatient care.
Cases & Procedures:

Perform 3-7 surgical cases daily across various procedures:
- Bariatrics
- Plastics
- GYN
- Colon-rectal
- Urology
- ENT
- Thoracic (minimal)
- Ortho (minimal)
- Possess strong experience in laparoscopic, open, and robotic surgery
- Cases include pre-op physical exams, suture removal, diagnosing illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, assisting in surgery, writing prescriptions, coordination of care, and consultations/ER
** Schedule:**
- Weekend schedule (Friday-Sunday)

Consistent hours: 7 am - 7 pm or 7 pm - 7 am
- PRN call only
** Requirements:**
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certified in General Surgery
- Minimum 3 years of general surgery experience
- ACLS, BLS, and RNFA certifications
