Infectious Disease Physician-Scientist Faculty

The Division of Infectious Disease in the Department of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Health Sciences University invites applications for a full-time physician-scientist faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Exceptional researchers at the full professor level may also be considered.

Position Overview:

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a demonstrated potential for conducting innovative research.Successful candidates will be expected to establish a vigorous, independently funded research program within the Division of Infectious Diseases, to participate in teaching of graduate and medical students and clinical fellows, and to be an active member of the research community at Cedars-Sinai Health Sciences University. Candidates will have limited clinical responsibilities separate from their protected time for research.

Qualifications

• Doctorate (MD, MD/PhD or equivalent) degree
• Board certified or board eligible in Infectious Diseases
• Strong record of peer-reviewed publications demonstrating originality and productivity
• Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, innate immunity, host-pathogen interactions, the microbiome, allergic diseases, and lung injury.
• Applicants with research programs focused on clinical research are also encouraged to apply.
