High-acuity ICU coverage with flexible PRN scheduling and the opportunity to work alongside fellows, residents, and attending physicians. Ideal for experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioners seeking recurring block coverage.
Practice & Cases
- Neuro, Cardiac, and Medical ICU step-down coverage
- Manage approximately 10 to 15 patients per shift
- Central and arterial line placement required
- Care for neurocritical care, cardiovascular surgery, ECMO, VAD, transplant, and other complex ICU patients
Schedule
- Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
- Flexible PRN coverage opportunities
- Minimum of 4 consecutive shifts per month required
- Ongoing coverage with recurring shift blocks available
Requirements
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner
- Board certification required
- Active Illinois license required
- Prior Critical Care Nurse Practitioner experience required
