Neurology Opportunity in Gonzales, LA

You’ll step into an established outpatient neurology practice with immediate patient volume and a strong primary care referral stream. This is a General Neurology position with broad clinical variety and access to additional regional resources. Practice Overview

• Outpatient-focused General Neurology practice with limited inpatient responsibility
• You’ll join a team currently including 1 MD, 1 NP, additional APP support approved, plus 2 MAs and dedicated clinic staff
• Clinical scope includes stroke/vascular neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular conditions, MS, headache, and cognitive/memory disorders
• Diagnostics include EEG availability; EMG performed through an affiliated ambulatory center (no Epilepsy Monitoring Unit currently)

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00a–4:30p
• Average volume: 15–18 patients per day
• Call: up to 4 weeks per year (structure and inpatient support models currently under discussion)
• EMR: Epic

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary guarantee starting at $332,000
• Sign-on bonus: $25,000
• Relocation allowance: $10,000
• 31 days Annual Time Off (ATO); paid malpractice; comprehensive medical/dental/vision/life/disability; retirement matching programs; eligible site for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)

Candidate Requirements

• MD/DO required
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
• Open to new grads and experienced physicians
• Visa sponsorship available
