Texas Children’s Urgent Care– Seeks Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatricians (Part-Time & Full-Time) to join our new location in Austin Texas.

Join the Texas Children’s team expanding our standard of care for families across the state. You will be a part of a nationally recognized team of pediatric specialists as we seek to hire Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatricians (Part-Time & Full-Time) to join our Urgent Care team at 4477 S Lamar Blvd and 9835 N Lake Creek Parkway, Austin locations.

As part of our Urgent Care team, physicians and advanced practice providers enjoy the following:

Support of either a physician and advanced practice providers, physician assistant or nurse practitioner, as well as a registered nurse

Day, evening, and weekend scheduling

Responsibilities:

Assesses, diagnoses, treats, and educates patients.

Documents information in patient's chart regarding assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education

Records diagnosis/CPT in an accurate, timely manner to ensure prompt posting of charges per site protocol.

Provides verbal and/or written information regarding treatment regimens in language that is understandable and appropriate for the patient and/or caregiver.

Serves as a credible, knowledgeable educational resource for the patient, family, community, and other healthcare professionals.

Participates in site meetings and provides input to address patient care issues or operational concerns.

Qualifications:

Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children's, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)

PALS and/or BLS. (PALS strongly preferred).

Completion of residency in Pediatrics required.
