Outpatient Psychiatrist – MedStar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC)

MedStar Health, the largest non-profit health system in Maryland and the Washington, DC region, is expanding our Behavioral Health Network and seeking a full-time Academic Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Located in the heart of Washington, DC, MedStar Washington Hospital Center is a premier academic and clinical institution known for excellence in trauma, cardiac, vascular, and burn care. Our Department of Psychiatry is growing and offers a collaborative, mission-driven environment with strong academic involvement.
Position Highlights
- Provide high-quality psychiatric care as an attending physician in our outpatient and partial hospitalization programs
- Work with a diverse and clinically complex patient population
- Supervise and teach Georgetown University residents and medical students
- Hold a faculty appointment with Georgetown University School of Medicine
- Contribute to a strong culture of teaching, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Qualifications
- Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
- Demonstrated interest or experience in teaching and academic medicine
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to team-based care

USD $280,000.00 - USD $305,000.00 /Yr.

Compensation Details
$280K–$305K
The hiring range is the range MedStar Health, in good faith, believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education and/or skill level, etc. Even within the range, the actual compensation will vary depending on the above factors as well as market/business considerations.
