Aya Locums is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to assist with a locums assignment in Fall River Mills, CA. Please review the details below.

Specialty: NP/PA Hospitalist

Start Date: June 2024

Contract Length: Ongoing

Shift Details: Monday – Friday with weekend call and rotation through acute floor of the hospital. Will be 7 on/14 off at the hospital, and then M-F at the LTC facility.

Schedule: Fulltime

Work Details:

• Patient population/age: Geriatric/Adult
• Department Description: SNF with acute hospital rounding
• EMR: Cerner
• Support staff: CNA, RN, Charge Nurse, Unit Assistants
• Rounds on residents of at least one-half of patients in each LTC facility for monthly visits, MD to perform on the other half of census. Also evaluate patients as needed/requested by nursing for acute medical, social, and behavioral problems or condition changes.

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Yes, NP
• License required: CA
• DEA: Yes
• Minimum experience required:   They prefer 3 years of experience treating Geriatrics but this is not required. They will not accept new graduates. Needs at least 2 years of experience as an IM or ACNP.
• Credentialing: 3 Weeks
• Travel/lodging: Provided by facility
