Contract Supervising Psychiatrist – Outpatient Behavioral Health (APP Supervision)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Supervising Psychiatrist to provide oversight and clinical supervision for our team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in an outpatient behavioral health setting. This role supports both virtual care and brick-and-mortar clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical supervision and support for APPs delivering psychiatric care across multiple states.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring adherence to evidence-based treatment protocols and best practices.
• Participate in regular supervision meetings (virtual), and be available for ad hoc clinical consultation.
• Support APPs in utilizing AI-powered note-generating and decision support tools.
• Promote high standards of care through measurement-based practices and continuous quality improvement.
• TN supervision does require an onsite visit once a month is required for APP supervision, site visit fee negotiable if applicable

• APPs utilize evidence-based treatment algorithms, generative AI support tools, and AI-assisted documentation software.
• Care is delivered in a hybrid model (virtual + on-site), ensuring access and flexibility for patients and staff.
• A strong, collaborative APP team and experienced psychiatric leadership support continuity and clinical excellence.

Requirements:

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Psychiatry.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in TX and/or TN (multi-state licensure or willingness to obtain licensure in KS/MO, OK, or NM is a plus).
• Minimum 2 years of post-residency clinical experience.
• Previous experience supervising APPs strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working in a tech-enabled, AI-integrated clinical environment.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative care.

Contract Details:

• Flexible hours and remote-first model.
• Monthly commission of $1,325 per APP
• Reimbursement for obtaining licensure
• Long-term opportunities available as we expand into new states.
