Are you passionate about improving the lives of patients with neurological movement disorders and shaping the next generation of neurologists? The University of Connecticut is seeking a dynamic Movement Disorders Neurologist to join our vibrant Department of Neurology as an Assistant Professor/Clinical faculty member.
In this role, you will:
- Provide expert care for adults with movement disorders, including Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease, ALS, and other neurological conditions.
- Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of neurological disorders, combining evidence-based medicine with personalized care.
- Develop a novel clinical practice in Movement Disorders, expanding our services and impact in the community.
- Participate in and lead clinical trials and research initiatives, contributing to the advancement of neurological care.
- Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through hands-on teaching in both outpatient and inpatient settings at John Dempsey Hospital.

Qualifications:
- Required: MD or equivalent, completion of a Neurology Residency, board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
- Preferred: Subspecialty training in Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders, fellowship experience in Movement Disorders.
