Locum Outpatient Hematology/Oncology

A busy outpatient practice is seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a locum tenens opportunity beginning ASAP through December 31, 2025. This is a fantastic chance to work with a strong clinical support team in a well-established community cancer care setting.

Assignment Details:

• 📅 Start Date: ASAP
• 📆 Contract Length: Through 12/31/2025
• 🕐 Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours + backup/second call (schedule TBD)
• 🏥 Setting: 100% outpatient

Practice Overview:

• 👩‍⚕️ Support Staff Includes:
• 6 RNs
• 3 MAs
• 1 PA/NP
• 5 Office Staff
• 👥 Patient Volume: ~15 patients/day
• 🧑‍⚕️ Supervision Required: Must supervise APPs
• 🛏 Department Bed Size: 158

Candidate Requirements:

• ✅ Board Certified in Internal Medicine with Hematology/Oncology focus
• 🪪 Licensure: Active Michigan medical license required (IMLC not accepted)
• 💊 Certifications: BLS
• 🧾 DEA: TBD
• 📅 Credentialing Timeframe: 30–60 days
