    Kaiser Permanente - Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Hematologist/Oncologist to join our Cancer Care team based in Olympia, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an integrated care delivery system that prioritizes evidence-based medicine, patient-centered care, and physician collaboration.  

    Position Highlights:

    This is a multi-disciplinary Hematology/Oncology practice involving the full breadth of elective and acute care general surgery. There is a team spirit of collaboration with an emphasis on continuous learning, education, quality improvement, and standardization of care and best practices

    As a Comprehensive Hematologist/Oncologist with Kaiser–WPMG, you will:

    • Collaborate closely with colleagues and specialists to share knowledge, discuss cases, and design patient-centered treatment plans.
    • Practice in a model that removes insurance barriers, giving you the time and access needed to truly know and care for your patients.
    • Work within a multispecialty medical center that delivers coordinated care through convenient, one-stop facilities offering a full spectrum of services.
    • Have the option for a 4-day work week.
    • Provide inpatient rounding as a consultative service, supported by on-site hospitalists who manage all admissions and discharges.
    • Maintain a clinic schedule designed to protect meaningful patient-physician face-to-face time.

    • Practice community hematology/oncology with opportunities to focus on specialty interests.
    • Use EPIC and Beacon EMR systems across all practice locations.
    • Pursue non-clinical interests and professional development.
    • Full Salary Range: $546,749 to $643,234 - Placement of new hire will be between $546,749 to $611,073 (salary will be prorated based on FTE, new hire salaries will be based on factors such as education, training and experience; salary includes a temporary location based premium applicable to this site__.)

    New Hire Incentives:

    • Signing Bonus: New Hires are eligible to receive a 20% sign-on bonus

    Qualifications

    • Required: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
    • Preferred: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology
    • Ability to obtain: Unrestricted Federal DEA 
    • Ability to obtain: WA State Medical License
