Morgan Medical Center Primary Care is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our hospital-owned outpatient practice.

The ideal candidate is a dedicated clinician with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric populations. This is a Monday through Friday, outpatient-only position—no nights, weekends, or inpatient responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide comprehensive primary care for adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting
2. Perform routine exams, diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, order and interpret diagnostic tests
3. Develop evidence-based treatment plans and educate patients about preventative care, health maintenance, and disease management
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, behavioral health, care coordination, and specialty services
5. Maintain timely and accurate medical records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
6. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical performance programs (e.g., MIPS, HEDIS, PCMH, etc.)
7. Adhere to clinic protocols, compliance guidelines, and standards of care

Job Qualifications

1. MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
2. Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine
3. Valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Georgia
4. DEA certification and current BLS/ACLS
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Comfortable working in a team-based environment

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Outpatient only—no hospital rounding, no hospital call
• Support from on-site nursing staff, practice manager, and care coordination team
