Obstetrics & Gynecology Opportunity in New Hampshire

This is a full-spectrum Obstetrics & Gynecology role designed for physicians who enjoy collaboration with midwives and APPs while maintaining meaningful surgical volume. Practice Overview
- You’ll join an employed OB/GYN team alongside CNMs and APRNs in a community hospital setting (Level 1 nursery; MFM support available via telehealth)
- Shift-based OB coverage with midwifery first call
- Full-spectrum scope: inpatient & outpatient OB, generalist GYN, and GYN surgery (robot available and optional)
- Approximately 400 deliveries/year with equitable OB distribution; in-house uro-gyn support and clear referral pathways for complex cases
Schedule
- Average 32 patient-facing hours/week plus 8 administrative hours
- Clinic days typically 8a-5p (14-16 patients/day); new visits 40 minutes, follow-ups 20 minutes
- OR days typically 7a-5p with dedicated block time and no competition for OR access
- Call is shared equally; call shifts run 7a-7a with midwives as first call and pediatrics covering newborn rounding
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary starting at $377,000
- Sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance up to $15,000
- $200/hour for additional call or extra shifts; malpractice coverage with tail
- Time off and benefits package including vacation, 6 paid federal holidays, CME (10 days and $6,000 every 2 years), retirement contributions, and PSLF eligibility
Candidate Requirements
- BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Residents/fellows (upcoming grads) and experienced physicians both considered
- Comfort with full-spectrum OB and generalist GYN surgery; interest in a collaborative model with midwife/APP support
- Visa support available (H-1B and J-1 waiver pathways)
