Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist in Texas

A Level 1 trauma center in Texas is seeking Anesthesiologists for locum tenens coverage to help meet demand through the busy holiday season. This is a Monday through Friday assignment with no nights, call, or weekend requirements, making it a great fit for physicians seeking consistent, daytime hours.

🏥 Position Details

• Facility Type: Level 1 Trauma Center
• Cases: No hearts or livers, but includes a wide variety of surgical cases
• Support Model: Mix of solo cases and CRNA/CAA supervision
• Patient Acuity: High – must be comfortable with very sick patients
• Call/Weekends: None
• Shifts: 8–10 hour days, 5 days/week

✅ Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Texas Medical License: Active and unrestricted (required)
• Experience: Must be confident working independently and supervising
• Comfortable with:
• High acuity patients
• Solo cases and supervision
• Broad case mix (excluding hearts and livers)
