In Person PMHNP Role Available – Location: Amarillo, Texas

Access TeleCare is a leading provider of behavioral health solutions. In partnership with several correctional facilities in Texas, we are currently seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for an in-person position.

Position Requirements:

• Certification: Board-Certified PMHNP (Across the Lifespan)
• Licensure: Active Texas state license in hand
• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of inpatient clinical experience as a PMHNP
• Location: Must reside near or be willing to commute to Amarillo, TX

In Person PMHNP Details:

o This is an in-person role with hybrid flexibility (80% tele, 20% in-office), with the potential to shift to 90% tele and 10% in-office if patients come to the clinic for tele-visits. The PMHNP will have flexibility to set their own schedules.

o Practice parameters include Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST, seeing between 12-16 patients per day (18 y/o and up, including many geriatric patients and some ID/DD patients residing in group homes). Time allocation is structured with 1 hour allotted for initial admissions and 30 minutes for follow-ups. There is no formal no-show policy, but the clinic experiences a high no-show rate (averaging about 3 no-shows per day, though the overall rate remains <10%).

o We have a strong preference for a Clinician who proactively manage no-shows; we are seeking Clinicians who are highly proactive and willing to reach out to potential no-shows before officially marking them as missed.

o Please note that there is no MA on-site to take vitals or prep patients; APCs will be expected to manage this themselves.
