Highlights
- Start date: January 2026; long-term, ongoing schedule
- Only 10 shifts per month; rest of the month off
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient ENT responsibilities
- Work alongside two Pediatric ENT surgeons
- Two experienced PAs for support
- Pediatric-only patient population
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts; Monday through Sunday rotation
- Night call as needed; in-house or telephone
- 10 shifts/month with consistent ongoing commitment
Cases and Procedures
- Tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and myringotomy with tubes
- Frenulectomy, foreign body removal, abscess drainage
- Myringoplasty, laryngoscopy, and septum cauterization
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Otolaryngology
- Active or willing to obtain Illinois license
- BLS, PALS, ACLS, and DEA required
