    UT Tyler School of Medicine - UT Health East Texas is seeking a full-time BC/BE Faculty Gynecology Oncology to join the team working at their hospital in Tyler, TX- 92 mi to Dallas. Together, we can make a difference in East Texas.

    Your Work:

    • Faculty appointment within the medical school with active involvement in resident education.
    • Access to advanced surgical technology, including the da Vinci robotic surgical system.
    • Balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
    • Typical schedule includes 2–3 days in outpatient clinic and 2–3 days in the OR, with the opportunity to oversee the chemotherapy clinic.
    • Comprehensive support staff, including multiple Advanced Practice Providers dedicated to oncology services.
    • Partner with supporting specialists (such as OBGyn Faculty, OBGyn Hospitalists, Medical Oncologists, and Urogynecologists)

    The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in The University of Texas System. The school offers a robust Graduate Medical Education program, with 20 residency and fellowship training programs, enabling graduates to gain specialized skills in areas such as family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, psychiatry, surgery, and anesthesia.

    Construction is currently underway on a five-story, 248,000-square-foot Medical Education Building (MEB) in Tyler’s Midtown District. Connected by a skybridge to UT Health Tyler, the MEB will support interdisciplinary education for medical students and resident training. The building is scheduled for completion in fall of 2025.
