A unique Gastroenterology locums opportunity is now available in New Mexico. This long-term assignment offers a consistent block schedule and is an ideal interim role with ongoing need for coverage.
Highlights:

Practice Setting:
- Outpatient clinic and GI lab environment
- Manageable volume of 18-20 procedures on lab days
- See 18-20 patients on clinic days
- Full support staff including APPs, RNs, and MAs
Schedule:
- Coverage needed Monday through Friday
- Only 2 or more weeks per month required
- Shared beeper call rotation one week per month
Procedures and Case s:
- General Gastroenterology cases and procedures
- Required experience: EUS, Upper GI endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Liver biopsy
- ERCP experience is preferred for this assignment
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Gastroenterology
- Must hold an active New Mexico medical license
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 24 months of relevant experience
Credentialing Requirements:
- Credentialing support is provided for this assignment
- The process typically takes 60-90 days to complete
