Overview

Searching for full-time CICU APP (NP or PA) to join the growing team at Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, TX, ideally with CICU, Congenital Heart or PICU experience at some point in your career path.Responsibilities The Methodist Children’s Heart Institute takes a collaborative, patient-centric approach to care delivery and walks alongside patients and families on their treatment journey. The program leverages support from the Methodist Health System, the leading adult cardiac program in San Antonio, and HCA, as a member of a 4-program national pediatric congenital heart network.

About the CICU:

  • Combined PICU/CICU: 24 bed unit with 10 beds dedicated to CICU. Cardiac care directed by CICU team with 24/7 coverage. Plan to expand to acuity adaptable unit in 2024.

  • Clinical role with focus on direct patient care

  • Hospital has full complement of subspecialty services, including ECMO, CRRT, TPE

  • MCHI program supported by Clinical and Quality leads, dedicated Educator and Patient Navigator

Qualifications For PAs:
