Virginia Eye Consultants and Tidewater Eye Centers are coming together under the Virginia Eye Consultants name. This collaboration enhances the patient experience and strengthens our ability to provide seamless, comprehensive eye care across the region.

• LASIK & refractive surgery
• Cataract surgery
• Corneal disease & transplantation
• Glaucoma
• Dry eye disease
• Retina
• Oculoplastics
• Complex and advanced eye conditions

About the Position:

• Practice Model: MD/OD integrated group (7 MDs / 3 ODs)
• Specialty Focus: Comprehensive, refractive, cataract, anterior segment
• Reason for Hire: Growth and succession planning (anticipated retirement)
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Call: Shared rotation among MDs; no hospital call required
• Locations: Primary office in Portsmouth, VA with satellite offices in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach
• Environment: State-of-the-art technology, trained scribes for clinic efficiency, and a highly skilled support staff focused on delivering an excellent patient experience
