Physician - Gastroenterologist

MaineHealth, the largest health care system in Maine, currently has an opening for a Board Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a team of 5 Gastroenterologists, 1 Transplant Hepatologist and 10 Advanced Care Providers in its Southern Region representing Portland and Biddeford, ME.

Southern Maine Health Care, at MaineHealth is a non-profit, full-service community hospital with 125 acute care beds, there are opportunities to provide clinical instruction to students from the University of New England and Tufts University medical schools, internal medicine residents from Maine Medical Center and advanced practice providers. Additional opportunities could include providing clinical instruction for a GI fellowship under development and participating in clinical research activities through the Maine Institute for Research.
