What You'll Do:
- Conduct timely remote medical reviews of cases.
- Apply evidence-based criteria and your clinical judgment for medical necessity determinations.
- Clearly document all communication and decisions in our workflow tools.
- Utilize templates for efficient case review documentation.
- Meet turnaround times for clinical reviews.
- Engage in peer-to-peer discussions with treating providers to clarify information and explain review outcomes.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism and service.
- Contribute to projects enhancing clinical expertise and efficiency (as needed).
- Support operational improvements related to clinical review tasks (as needed).
What You'll Bring:
- Completed US-based residency
- Board certification (MD or DO) with a current, unrestricted US state medical license.
- 5+ years of clinical practice experience post-residency/fellowship.

Compensation Details
$200-270k
The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $270,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
