Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, Florida is recruiting additional perinatologists to join our expanding team. As a leading MFM program in Florida, we treat patients from around the state, country, and internationally. The Maternal, Fetal and Neonatal Institute (MFNI) provides comprehensive care for women and babies throughout all stages of development, including specialized care for mothers with high-risk pregnancies. JHACH is a 259-bed teaching hospital, ranked as a U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospital in 7 pediatric specialties (2023-2024). We are also ranked as the #1 Children’s Hospital in Florida. The hospital features a 97-bed Newborn Intensive Care Unit and on-site in-hospital delivery service in the same building. We currently have needs for the following sites: 

JHACH in St. Petersburg, FL: Our state-of-the-art MFM practice is primarily consultation based although we provide obstetrical services to the very high-risk patient at our main campus in St. Petersburg. We cover two large labor and delivery units with a combined total of 7,000 deliveries/year.

Brandon, FL: The MFM team member in Brandon will provide high-risk consultation and ultrasound services (no deliveries). Located 10 miles east of downtown Tampa, greater Brandon is a thriving region of over 265,000 residents and one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country. HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is a state-of-the art hospital that offers a wide range of specialty services, including newborn intensive care.

Trinity, FL: MFM team members in Trinity will provide high-risk consultation and ultrasound services (no deliveries). Located 30 minutes north of Tampa, Trinity is a rapidly growing community in west Pasco County, one of the fastest growing counties in the United States. You will practice with Edmund Funai, MD, a board certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience. This is a thriving practice that continues to grow due to ever-increasing demand for MFM services. HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is a 272-bed, state-of-the-art, all-private-room hospital.

In addition to patient care, the MFM in each practice setting will have the opportunity to be actively involved in teaching. Qualified candidates are eligible for an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
