Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon - Board Certified or Board Eligible

Position Overview: SpineSearch is partnering with a leading hospital system in the Bronx to identify a skilled and motivated Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative, patient-focused environment, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions
• Perform surgical and non-surgical interventions, including arthroscopic procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapy, primary care, and other specialists
• Provide comprehensive patient care from initial consultation through post-operative follow-up
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Sports Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to patient-centered care

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a hospital or high-volume clinical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to academic involvement, teaching, or research is a plus
