Position Overview
The Department of Medicine at UF Health Jacksonville is seeking a Cardiac Care Intensivist to join our nationally recognized academic program. This is a full-time, inpatient-only faculty position designed for physicians with specialized training in Critical Care Medicine with experience in Cardiac Critical Care who are dedicated to managing complex and high acuity cardiac patients. This position offers flexible scheduling within a highly collaborative environment supported by dedicated advanced practice providers. Physicians will work closely with cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, nursing staff, pharmacists, and other specialists to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
Based at our downtown Jacksonville hospital, this position provides the opportunity to practice in an academic setting while contributing meaningfully to both clinical care and education, including the training of Cardiology, Pulmonary, and Critical Care fellows, with the opportunity to serve as core clinical faculty for these fellowships. The role offers a rewarding career path with the ability to directly impact patient outcomes while helping to train and mentor the next generation of physicians.
