The University of Miami, Uhealth has an exciting opportunity for a APRN in the ICU department at the UTower location.The "APRN" is

responsible for the direct and indirect care of his/her assigned patients, and the supervision of assigned personnel. He/she will also report to

the medical director and nursing director. The position requires the ability to assess patient's condition, formulate a plan of care, and evaluate

a patient's response to care and treatment. Responsible for the continuous development and ongoing clinical management of the patients in

UHealth system. This will be accomplished while carrying out the Mission, Goals and Objectives of University of Miami Hospital, while

focusing on the patients, physicians and the employees as customers.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing

Certification and Licensing:

  • Valid State of Florida APRN License

  • Acute Care Certification

Experience:

  • Minimum (3)years of critical care experience as Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNPC-AG) and greater.
