Practice Setting
- Inpatient coverage based on consults and ED admissions
- Average on-call patient volume: 2/day weekdays, 4/day weekends
Schedule
- 24/7 call required with ~15 minutes response time
- 2-4 hours of clinic coverage one day per week (Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM)
- Average clinic daily patient volume: 25 patients
- Assignment duration: 6+ months, ongoing need
Procedures and Cases
- Low testosterone, hypogonadism
- Urinary issues: nocturia, incontinence, hematuria, UTI, BPH
- Kidney stones, renal mass, bladder mass, adrenal mass
- Office procedures: stent/catheter removal, dilations, bladder ultrasound, testosterone replacement therapy, lesion excisions
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Urology
- BLS and DEA certifications
- Hawaii State Medical License
