Highlights

• Minimal call responsibility — only 1 week every 6 weeks
• Adult outpatient focus with no OB

Practice Setting

• Solo physician coverage with 1 onsite mid-level
• Patient volume: 20-25 per day
• Ages seen: 16 and up
• On-site services: blood draw, AED available

Schedule

• Weekday-only schedule — no nights or weekends
• Choose from: Mon–Thurs 7a–6p, Mon–Fri 8a–5p, or Mon–Thurs 7a–5:30p
• Only 1 week of call every 6 weeks (Mon–Mon, phone only)
• Dates still open for summer, fall, and winter

Procedures and Cases

• General outpatient Family Medicine
• No OB, no ED backup, no in-house codes
• Focus on Adult and Geriatric care

Requirements

• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Active VA license or willing to obtain
• BLS certification
• Must be local to Virginia (only mileage is reimbursed)
