  • Penn State Health Children’s Hospital Section of Complex Care in the Division of Academic General Pediatrics has an immediate opening seeking a Complex Care Pediatrician.

    We provide:

    • Primary care medical home for children with medical complexity with excellent continuity for routine and ill visits Criteria for Patients:
      • Children birth to 18 with severe chronic illness involving 3 or more organ systems
      • Reliance on medical technology (GT, tracheostomy, home ventilation, indwelling central line, ostomy)
    • Inpatient consultation with inpatient team for existing patients
    • Care coordination for the complex medical needs of patients
    • Education for families and healthcare providers

    What we’re seeking:

    • We are seeking a board certified/board eligible general pediatrician with experience caring for medically complex children.
    • M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
    • Interest in academic medicine including teaching and/or research
