  • Children’s Mercy (CM) Kansas City in partnership with Mercy Health Springfield is seeking a fellowship-trained BC/BE Pediatric Endocrinologist to serve our pediatric population at our multispecialty practice in Springfield, Missouri.

    The duties of this full-time position are primarily clinical; the ideal candidate will have an interest in both endocrinology and diabetes. The Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes includes 30 pediatric endocrinologists, up to 7 fellows, 5 nurse practitioners, social workers, staff nurses, certified diabetes educators, care assistants, and clinical research coordinators. This team provides outpatient care at 4 clinic locations in Kansas City, MO, two campuses in Wichita, KS, and Topeka, KS and will start providing services in Springfield, MO. The team also provides pediatric endocrine care at several regional clinics in Kansas and Missouri.

    Multidisciplinary specialty clinics provide care to children of all ages affected by endocrine disorders associated with childhood cancer, 22Q11.2 Deletion, thyroid nodules, Turner Syndrome, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, gender dysphoria, metabolic syndrome/risk for type 2 diabetes, and disorders of sex differentiation. The diabetes center provides pediatric care to over 2500 individuals with type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes; our division has an ADA-recognized diabetes educational program.
