General Surgeon – Lead the Surgical Program in a Growing Community Hospital

We are seeking a General Surgeon to join a growing rural hospital and lead the development of its surgical program! This is an opportunity to build a practice while leading a dedicated team in an environment that values both expertise and vision.

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-employed position focused on general surgery, with leadership responsibilities as Chief of Surgery
• Surgical focus with approximately 3 surgery days and 1-2 clinic days each week
• Well-equipped hospital with 2 operating rooms and 1 procedure room; Stryker equipment for surgeries and Olympus for endoscopies

** Schedule:**

• No after-hours call required

  • Work primarily in the hospital's surgical suite with dedicated OR space
  • Flexible schedule with 3 days of surgery and 1-2 clinic days per week

** Compensation and Benefits:**

• $545,000 salary guarantee for the first five years, with a RVU bonus structure

  • $10,000 relocation assistance
  • 23 days of PTO annually, plus 5 days of extended sick leave, and a $4,000 CME allowance
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, life, dental, vision, and malpractice insurance, along with a Retirement Plan (IPERS) featuring an employer contribution
