Vascular Surgeon | Newest Hospital in NY | Easy Access to both Mountains and Time Square

Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is currently seeking a skilled and dynamic Vascular Surgeon to join our growing vascular team. This full-time, hospital-employed position offers a balanced schedule with dedicated outpatient clinic time, inpatient rounding, and operative time. The practice is supported by a hybrid operating room exclusively used by the vascular surgery team, and an on-site vascular ultrasound team located at the outpatient clinic. The vascular surgeon will join a collaborative team consisting of two vascular surgeons and four dedicated nurse practitioners. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with a NYS License. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Position Highlights

1. Participate in inpatient consultations, rounding, and postoperative management
2. Perform outpatient evaluations and follow-up care in the clinic setting
3. Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care, including open and endovascular procedures
4. Conduct procedures in a dedicated hybrid OR, allowing for advanced image-guided interventions
5. Manage preoperative and postoperative care for vascular surgery patients
6. Collaborate with a skilled vascular ultrasound team to assist with diagnosis and surveillance
7. Participate in shared call coverage among the vascular surgery team
8. Participate in training of general surgery residents
