Position Overview

MemorialCare Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a skilled, board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our dynamic cardiovascular surgery team in sunny Southern California. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside nationally recognized cardiac surgeons and contribute to one of the West Coast’s most comprehensive aortic programs.

You’ll be employed by MemorialCare Medical Group, a leading multi-specialty practice affiliated with MemorialCare Medical Foundation.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as first assist in the operating room for cardiothoracic, vascular, and aortic surgeries
• Manage all aspects of perioperative care, including patient histories, daily rounds, and invasive procedures
• Perform endovascular vein harvesting and participate in our specialized aortic clinic
• Provide patient care expertise in acute, step-down, and general post-op units
• Apply your knowledge of artificial cardiac devices, ventilators, and vasoactive/cardiotonic pharmacology
