Gastroenterologist Assignment - Idaho Locums

This Idaho-based Gastroenterology assignment offers block scheduling and travel coverage near Salt Lake City International Airport.

Highlights:

• 24-hour call from hotel after daytime duties
• Ongoing need through end of year

Practice Setting:

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage
• GI team of 4 MDs and multiple APPs
• Anesthesia support — no CRNAs
• Onsite nurses and hospital staff

Schedule:

• 7-day blocks: Monday 7a to following Monday 7a
• Daily: morning rounds, outpatient procedures (4–6), then inpatient consults
• After-hours call taken from hotel

Cases and Procedures:

• General GI cases: rounding, procedures, consults, call
• 6–8 patients/day for rounding/consults
• 1–3 inpatient procedures daily
• ERCP/EUS strongly preferred, not required

Requirements:

• Board-certified in Gastroenterology
• Active Idaho license or IMLC LOQ
• BLS and DEA required
• At least 24 months of experience

Travel Accommodations:

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered

Other Details:

• Credentialing takes 90–120 days
• Dates still available from August through December
• Adults only; no pediatric cases
